Although cool this morning (low 40's) the day was mainly sunny and warm - a good day to go exploring. ... I also discovered that we would pass near to Point Clear AL, the site of a conference that I attended several years ago. I found it to be a charming community and suggested that we do a drive through. Then started looking for an RV park. I found one - complete with train and blue grass concert tomorrow night! We booked in for two nights and that gives us tomorrow to do some exploration in the area. Amazing how things work out!

The house was on Mobile Bay so we paddled a bit, kicked the sand, and played with Jimbo's dog. A fine Sunday morning. Mobile Bay is a pretty piece of water, which I very much enjoyed seeing for the first time. After lunch we had some dessert fresh off the tree, loaded up and began the next leg of the trip.

Terry had planned to play golf at several of the Robert Trent Jones courses in Alabama, the first of which was near Foley. After his first game, he was driving around and he discovered an Alabama State Park a couple of miles away, at Gulf Shores.
