A travel blog entry by jason934 on Oct 05, 2015

We immediately jumped on the site tour. First stop was the actual ground control center used for the 60s to 80s rocket launches. The current ground control center is one floor down. Second stop on the tour was a building where they are developing vehicles and ...

Another drive today, this time to Seabrook which is 20 minutes south of Houston. It was a 4 hour drive and we were surprised by the amount of greenery and trees around during the drive. We expected more sparse areas, desert and brown. The drive took us right through Houston, and it got a little hairy driving through it because of some crazy drivers. Fortunately ...

Tonight we have the Gala on the Green. Should be interesting with a Texas BBQ and live music.
We all came back to our rooms for a short break before heading out this evening. During this break we packed bags, and re packed bags, tested weights, reorganised and tested weights again. Hope they will all ...

... We spent a lot of time in the pool because it was fun and we wanted to cool off.

Attached to the big pool, there was a big building with two water slides inside. If you went on it, you would climb up two sets of stairs, pick a slide and go twirling around about three times, landing in a small pool. If you wanted to, you would climb out and do it again or slide down a different short slide and swim to the main area of the pool again. ...
