... tea, I headed back to Eze, having picked up my washing which I had managed to leave behind.

... Not enough! I can still fit in my loop back down to Spain, but it doesn't look that fun in the timeframe. And some looking-up of stuff has pointed out to me a whole bunch of cool places tucked around between Paris and Munich. Should I cut out Spain and enjoy the last of my holiday more slowly? Can I stand to be that close to an area I've had recommended over and over yet pass it by? But the alternative to Spain looks so tempting... And I've got ...

... a little surreal.

From there as it is quite high up you can see the coastline of both France and Italy beyond Monaco so it's three countries in one shot.
I liked it quite a bit; it was quaint and charming and the drive was beautiful with all of the pretty houses. If you live there you are required to paint your house every five years; only in the accepted colours that they approve of.
The real estate there is not surprising; out of this world ...

... I can honestly say it is one of the most impressive viewpoints I have ever been in.

Gourdon has a very relaxed feel to it despite its existence being for the tourist these days. We bought some small presents for home in one of the perfume shops, served by a very happy assistant who danced as she wrapped. Don't get that in Tesco's.

... extra security because it was night?) to the airport. The protocol is collection for airport 3 hrs before flight, which is typically excessive, but this time it took the full 3 hrs to get thru the over-the-top security at the Accra airport. There is even full finger printing and photo at immigration. Crazy.
