Our dinner at VistaMar in the Hermitage Hotel (One of Monte Carlo/Monaco's top 10 restaurants) was complete with foie gras, sea bass, lamb, chocolate fondant and Grand Marnier Souffle... a perfect ending to an amazing meal. We finished the night in a small club cut into the side of a cliff overlooking the Mediterranean.

... this warm afternoon the heady perfume soon filled the car. How nice it must be to live surrounded but such lovely scent. Then we came to Lac de Ste Croix that we looked down onto from an escarpment and saw the brilliant aqua coloured lake dotted with small white sailing boats and a village with pink roofs that blended in well with the surrounding countryside. As we drove around the lake nearly every vantage point was packed with people admiring the view.
