Monday 20/1Up before sunrise I caught a train towards Barcelona, stopping on a whim in Carcassonne, whose UNESCO-listed medieval castle is almost perfectly preserved and today contains multiple restaurants and touristy shops. Went to bed last night with a pounding migraine and unfortunately woke up with it even worse. Unable to lift my head, Ben was left to amuse himself for the day, enjoying the beach until the clouds rolled in bringing the rain. By late afternoon and most of the day now a write off I dragged myself out of bed and into the passenger seat. The late afternoon has been sent sorting out the brochure war, biffing the paper we don't need and perfecting a strategy for our initial assault on Barcelona and Spain, where it will be the blind leading the blind.

The boys were very excited to visit the 'fortress town' It was an amazing place and they had heaps of fun imagining the battles that had taken place there.
