You can't travel to the top of the Matterhorn at 4450metres, a little high and a little steep except on foot and that might be a bit outside our skill level. The eastern side of the lake was even better. The town of Aix Les Bains is right on the lake, with a nice small town, and walks right along the lake - very pretty, Had a look around here for a while.
