Paris, Where is the Louvre?
... a popular area for tourists which means it is also a popular area for scammers and thieves. We saw two scams, the first was the old ball under cups trick where they move the cups around and you say where the ball is. Heaps of people were winning it except for the people who didn't look like they were from the same family as the guys running the operation. Once settled we went and did some exploring of the area, which seemed to be very nice. We then purchased a whole bunch of food to cook dinner and had a lot of fun trying to figure out what all the different things meant. We cooked a lovely chicken salad and then stayed up with wine and chatted until it was time for sleep.

Chris feeling better today, we decided to have quite a chilled day and head out to the Worlds largest markets. Well wasn't I in heaven.....shoes for 10-20 euro.....and yes I have bought 3 pairs, but how could I not. Wandering Père Lachaise
Today is Bastille Day in France, and we've been seeing the city get ready for the big parade and celebrations the last few days. Needless to say how cool it would’ve been to be right in the heart of all the action, we opted to stay away from downtown Paris and stay around the outskirts (as we also have a train to catch tonight). We caught one last brekkie at the hotel and watched parts of the Bastille Day parade on TV – and even heard / briefly saw the parade planes ...
