    ... water to another town / village, La Cluse on the opposite side. The water is very clean and clear. A speedboat with water-skier in tow travelled up and down,.. and two old codgers sat quietly with fishing lines in the water,.. just to complete the picture.     Well with the idea of going and getting medicine or something, I ended up just getting orange juice and some lunch. I didn't feel like walking all the way into town.     ... all know that I didn't do anything yesterday.

    So far, I have yet to do anything. I did Skype with Mom for a bit though. The puppies were just big balls of energy. It's 3pm. My friends went to a movie and I was going to get worked accomplished. I think I might head to the mall and get a hair dryer though, since the two I have from home don't work and it can't be good that I continue to go outside ...

Our guide told us that many of the rulers of the ancient time who helped build/ finance these large cathedral constructions tried to outdo each other by rising above one another. The main reason behind this was not only to show their power, but also to be closer to God.
