The collection of antique glass was interesting but we had to gallop round before it closed. Why is that when institutions have a stated closing time they always want you out 10 minutes before? ... with gorgonzola and I ate a beautiful steak dressed with a sage, rosemary, lemon and bay leaf sauce. Magnifico!! Not bad for a walk-in from the street. Since they had John Laws business card as one of only two from Australia in their collection I gave them one of mine!!!
The Museum of Venice on San Marco provided a necessary pause for the WC but that was not our destination, so we searched on for the Palazzio ?? that held a pretty dull exhibition ...
