Museum Day in Venice
Today we decided to visit art museums. We walked to the Academia Bridge which is a wooden structure that spans a southern stretch of the Grand Canal. It was built in 1932 as a temporary structure to replace a 19th century iron bridge and It still remains by popular demand as the only bridge crossing in thissection of the canal. Venice is beautiful but we think one full day of exploring is enough. We overheard talk of some islands(?) around 45mins-1hr boat ride away where there are beautiful beaches to lie on - this might be something worth while if you are there longer especially in summer. We also did not visit the glass museum, which is still vaguely on my to do list.

In retrospect, we should have ordered different things to try because they were too big for just one person to eat and the flavours were amazing, but too bold for so much food...but even still, REALLY good.
After finishing up the fantastic pizza from what turned out to be an Italian pizza chain based out of Naples ...
