... Again the people here are very friendly, in the main, and quite helpful. There are people everywhere looking at maps trying to discern the next bridge to cross, the next path to follow, and many seem happy to share suggestions on how to get, in our case, home – the Hotel Scandinavian.
We did get home and are quite tired after quite a long day, travelling from the west side of Italy to the east. Looking forward now to a good night’s sleep.
... at St. Mark's Square. Rain completely bucketing down now, the square looked completely different to yesterday as it was much more wet and it was raining so everyone had umbrellas and they were wearing bigger coats.
