... some friends of my grandmother who wanted to meet me! We also went in to visit Arianna at work in Poschiavo and in the evening she took Lee and I out for dinner! We had such a wonderful time- good food, drinks and it was so good to catch up with my cousin!!! I only wish we could see the family more often. ... as this winter has been very mild. The view from the house is incredible! The house is cute and old fashioned with a wood oven and an outdoor fridge. Totally confusing town. Lots of signs heading into town. lots of exit roads on both sides of the river, but no bloody sign. As soon as I got to the centre of town the signs would disappear.

I headed out of direction, just a few kilometers then I turned and headed back. Tried another road but the took me back up the mountain, so I turned around. Tried another road, still no signs, so I pulled into a service station and asked. Si si (pointing the way ...

So I have to admit that I included the Stelvio Pass on this trip after seeing the guys from Top Gear driving it, and although they did it in super cars I knew it would be a good drive on the bike as well.

Getting there from München wasn't as straight forward as I had hoped, but then again when you drive without a GPS and rely on your memory and a few screenshots you might end up a little lost ...
