... up the mountain and after looking at the stunning views- we went into the nearby town and had an amazing lunch! Pizzoccheri is the speciality there so we all had that, after a huge antipasto and followed by fresh green apple sorbet- buonissimo! The walk back was much quicker and that evening we had another beautiful meal and then went to pack. The busy life we're living is incredible- so much to experience. La vita è bella. Bacioni ...

We made the climb in 3 stages of rail cars, again with spectacular views as seen in the photos. When we got to 3057 it was very cold and came in colder as time went on. We had fun taking photos then decided to warm up with a coffee for staggs and wine for edgecombes before heading back. Once we ...

... so we had dogs on the train as well - very interesting. Someone was about to start smoking but no guesses as to who pointed out the "no smoking" sign so he put his smokes away (thank goodness). So another 2.5 hours and we were in Tirano. Checked in and had dinner of beef medallions (200gm steak) and mushrooms before our train ride to St Moritz tomorrow. Walking to dinner came across the most unlikely shop!! ...
