Couple of things stood out in the macabre! 1) the body, wrapped in cloth of an11th century saint in on display in a glass crypt 2) there is a little miniature glass crypt behind a timber frame and when you look closely it actually has a human skull and bones arranged in the 'skull and cross bones' design. 3) just the sheer size of this empty space! ... secret ingredient of the eggplant parmagiana was cocoa. The aroma was something to savor as it was bought to the table. Desert was chocolate salami, which was really a chocolate and biscotti roll. It was so rich but delicious and of course that has to be eaten with desert wine. So sweet but perfect. After the ricotta and pear tart I had for lunch, I can assure you, I am looking more and more like the little mozzarella ball…… and loving that ...
