... poses and moments from people trying to put thier own special take on things. The baptistery was great from a perspective of acoustics and each half hour a staff member comes out, calls out for silence and then signs / calls out notes in tune for the reverberations throughout the place. The other interesting note were the skulls and cross bone references in marble on the floors. Next the cathedral, this place is more of ...

... I was freaking out. When we finally reached the top I was thinking – 'what could possibly be up this tiny track that is worth staying the night? Oh, I know, another castle on a hill that is in a time warp back to the 1930-40’s!' But hey, the view was spectacular …….and we made it!!

Today was a day of winding roads in the middle of nowhere, amazing vistas and excellent driving from Stephen. Tomorrow is another day, thank ...
