... 8230; with Lucca situated in the valley with mountains on all sides and the fact that Istorico Lucca is all walls and 3 storey buildings means that the wind is nearly always non-existent. With this lovely weather we have been rugging up with a hat, scarf and nice warm coats…grabbing our umbrellas and taking off for our walks. It truly is wonderful.

On the third day of the Cruise we arrived at our first stop, Livorno in Italy, close to Pisa.

... tiring day. Once we unpacked and started washing etc…I went out and got some dinner and watched the entire goings on around the city walls…always something new happening here!!!

Anyway...as I started this days blog…it is nearly midnight…we ‘BOTH’ had a lovely gelato and coffee not 30 minutes ago…life is good …Mary is off in ‘La La’ land in bed and I’m just about there.
