... use the paths including dogs and kids. It's the way to go! We enjoyed it so much we did the 2.5 mile loop twice, once in each direction and then intrepidly rode into town and explored a lot of the windy street (and have the usual coffee/tea/toilet break)!. We then decided to head out of Lucca for the rest of the day and ended up in Montecantini Alto which is a village high above the Tuscan hills. We were hoping to find a ...

This city is encircled by a perfectly intact wall. We had hoped to "bike the ramparts" a 2.5 mile loop on top of the wall but the rain trumped us. Lunch inside a cafe with wi-fi, first grilled chicken in over a week, always ...

... Holly and Jess bobbed around and the mummy's generally read and applied sunscreen to whoever they were able to catch. Andy was on the Decks banging out some Tunes and also trailing a tangle of extension leads up to the pool so our tunes had power! Daddy came back at lunch time with French sticks and more tuna and we all sat down for a yummy alfresco lunch. The discussion over lunch led to the planning of the next few days outings. It was voted on and decided that in ...
