... mighty river until I boarded the train for Koblenz. The Cathedral seats the Archbishop and was founded in the first century AD. It was the Roman Capital of Germania. There is much information to indicate that it is considered the cultural capital of the Rhineland.During the war it had the daylights bombed out of it.

... classical composer Beethoven. On our arrival in Bonn we decided to take a walking tour of the sights of the city. Our hotel was on the banks of the Rhine so we had a lovely view of the river and city skyline. Bonn, Germany, a city many have probably not heard of was actually the capitol of Germany from after the WW2 to about 1990 when the wall came down in Berlin and they once again made the Capitol Berlin.
