... morning we head to Bad Mergentheim and uncle Gerhardt's place. It was wonderful to see him again, especially since he had been so ill last year, time has indeed healed his body, he was misic to our ears - blowing his horn again!
Traditional lunch - weisswurst mit kartoffel.

Jam-Packed Weekend
... that had original art that she had painted. It was amazing to see the original paintings up close as I have always been interested by her art and her life.
After such a busy weekend I have to start school again tomorrow... I'm hoping that it is as good as last week! As I finish up my blog and my international weekend I am going to end the day with bread dumplings and goulash (God. I talk about food a lot).

Over the years, I've met a couple of their old friends when they
visited the United States, but really only knew two, Eberhard and
Monika Schuch. Over the last weekend of August I was able to meet my
family at the Schuch's home and spend the weekend getting to know
everyone I've heard so many stories about.
