After Trier, we headed to Cologne to see the cathedral. Cologne is a big city and we had a heck of time finding the parking and then lugging our stuff into the hotel--a little stressful :). I was making my way to Dusseldorf Hafen, this is the media harbour a rejuvenated area of once docklands now hosts the media and the Rhine Tower, the old harbour buildings have been updated into offices or accommodation, I can imagine it would be an expensive place to live.

... saved time queuing, the baggage check in was very easy and automated, the machine weighed the bad then printed out a label to attach and off it went down the conveyer belt. Passport control went smoothly too and this gave me plenty of time for a coffee and relax before the flight, up to now it was going just fine and I was enjoying my little adventure.

Ah, 0600, we did it. I didn't think it was possible but I slept for what feels like 2 days. I rolled over, Devin was looking at me, I gave her the thumbs up, She replied "What?". I said we did it, get dressed lets go find some coffee and something to snack on. Out the door we went down to the Carlsplatz, shopping district. And here I am. I am very tired. It is only 6pm in the States, but 11pm here. Tomorrow, we visit Cologne. My other German sister, Romea lives in Cologne so I have tried to contact her to see if she can meet with us. I hope she calls us tomorrow.
