Finally. The ocean. Corsica's beautiful northern turquoise abyss provided soothing balm to the soul. Tears were shed as we wandered into the ocean, creating solace amidst the chaos, bringing light to dark. I had mournfully ached for the ocean amidst those mountains for the past six months. I loved those peaks, I stared in awe every day at the ever changing vista from our living room ...

We finished the evening off watching the lights come on around the bay with a couple of beers, from the vantage point of our roof top terrace. Wednesday Today was a beautiful day, 31 degrees, but there was a lovely breeze coming off the water, so we had a relaxing ...

... got a nice butt too. For dinner we walked into the city and had a lovely meal at one of the cafes around the town square. The ice cream to finish was amazing. Just as well we had to walk back home, we ate so much. The nights are superb, it was still 27 degrees according to the pharmacy neon lights. I'm not sure whether it's the combination of swimming and sun, or the aftermath of the hike around Mont Blanc, but we are sleeping like logs. Monday ...
