Day started a little quietly until I remembered it was May 19....ohhh that's why you been sitting typing away on Facebook.....sorry

We drove 50 mins to Sátão from Viseu after restocking for the weekend at the supermarket. A gourmet weekend was in order and it's not disappointed one bit. Hand peeled prawns in garlic, olive oil and chorizos, traditional Portuguese rolled pork with a local stuffing smothered in onions, pepper, salt and pepper seasonings, large fish kebabs, aubergine & halloumi parcels, cocktails shaken!!! It's all too much holiday fun... Time to travel Monday ...

We left our camp-site & came to a place called Viseu. I got to hang out more with my ***** Tia. We shared breakfast together (ham & cheese croissant) im a very European dog now! & then cuddled up on the sofa. We even shared an ice cream, im a very romantic Beagle me.... what a great day ...

... Yes, there’s a little ski hill from the top or Torre a short distance downwards, Portugal’s only ski area. A ski vacation destination it is not! The area immediately around the peak is actually not that steep and the views are much better from many of the pullouts throughout Serra da Estrella National Park than from the peak itself.
