... We passed straight through Sarria which took over an hour, and had lunch near the outskirts at the top of the hill past the cathedral. We had learnt that once you've passed the cathedrals there is usually very little climbing ahead.

Lunch and some ibuprofen and chocolate biscuits later we were in our way again. Warren had been troubled by sciatica earlier and was struggling.

... quite far before I found it but I was confident that even though thee was no ATM that they would be able to give me cash if I went inside. NOT SO MUCH. So, after much back and forth and phone calls, the realized at Juan at the butcher shop next door had a Smart adapter for his iPhone. So today, we all thought that it would be an easy 35K from a Gudina to Laza. It looked like it would be very beautiful walk with great view of a big lake. Check me out I'm on a campsite way up in the mountains having been bathing in two different sets of thermal waters (an old Roman site and then a river which had thermal currents).....then I splashed about like a fool clambering up a mountain stream.....then I walked up a mountain and then I became very tired and that's why this is all your getting.
