It was our last day of the cruise. The temperature felt slightly colder than the day before, which gave us free choice on the deckchairs again.

Before dinner it was time to pack our luggage. Luckily we didn't buy too many souvenirs so everything fit. After dinner we went to the theater to see the show ensemble perform one last time and then went up to the pooldeck for the farewell poolparty, before grabbing one last drink in the Anytime ...

Then, we went to the AIDA Bar where we had “Crew meets Band”. Crew members from various departments performed songs together with the band. Always surprising what talents come on stage. After 3 days of only seeing water around us, we finally saw land this morning. We arrived in Praia. Praia is on Santiago, one of the 15 islands of the Cape Verde Islands.

We had not booked any excursion and just wanted to do a tour by taxi. We were able to negotiate a 2hour tour for 50 Euros. The taxi driver did not speak any English but we managed ...
