    First on this trip, Angie and I had a few days to recover ( and defrost from the Canberra/Melbourne winter) in Paris with Kate. Alan still toughing it out at home for a couple of weeks as he has a concert to play. Flew to Lisbon for a great week there. What a fabulous city!     Mike decided we should head out by car this morning to see the countryside. We had sent Gerry and Betty an e-mail yesterday but did not hear back from them.
