    First on this trip, Angie and I had a few days to recover ( and defrost from the Canberra/Melbourne winter) in Paris with Kate. Alan still toughing it out at home for a couple of weeks as he has a concert to play. Flew to Lisbon for a great week there. What a fabulous city! So relaxed and laid back.....but I feel sorry for the older on earth do they negotiate the hills in the centre of town. ...

    Faro was an interesting place to experience. Overall it was a very quiet 2 days we spent there as it's not a busy town. The hostel we stayed at was... below average shall we say, regarding staff, cleanliness and the fact that there was no toilet paper for a whole day!     ... up on the weather and left). We make it as far a Faro (about 15 miles), when Kathleen decides she has had enough. I must admit, it is very windy, I do not think I have been on a motorcycle in such high winds. We turn around and return to Quateira.
    Something tells me the scooter is not going to be a success.

    We had intended to stay here another two days (Kathleen cannot resist the "bargain" of getting a free night if you stay three nights), but, when we wake, it is raining (again!).
