      We have arrived in Portugal and it is beautiful and sunny. We did have a few issues at the border where you have to register for the tolls and we sort of by passed them up the wrong way right in front of the police station. Luckily they must be used to tourists doing it, about four more cars did it after us.

      We have stayed here on the beach for the last three days the sky has been blue and cloudless and it has been hot enough to lie in the sun. Bliss. The beach is long and the sand is fine and pale. Small razor clams and other shells washed up on the edge of the sea.
