Found another great beach to spend some time. We have. Had some technical difficulties so haven't been blogging much. Just golfing and enjoying the sunshine. This really is an amazing place if you love the beach. The food is good in all the restaurants too. Some times the menu is a bit too English for my taste but lots of Local Portuguese fare as well. The strangest thing we saw there were the pictures of cute dogs pasted onto the white walls! Many examples of the typical Portuguese tiles, both old and new.

Our next stop was at the Milreu Roman ruins (4th century) ...

... on the challenge of new careers. Margarida is Portuguese, and many of her family members live in the south, which drew them to this part of the country. They were completely charming and very knowledgeable about the history and customs of the area. We were fast friends by the end of the third day!

We started the day at the busy Saturday market in Olhao, on the coast. Don was in heaven with all of the photo ops there. Sunshine ...
