After breakfast at the Pousada we sit in the lounge and our room. We were going yo go to the pool but it is overcast and cool. The ABCD are having a meeting in the hotel. Not heard of them? Its a European organisation called the Advisory Board on Cat Diseases. Or did someone just make that up? We check out at noon. The car has been parked outside for two days. Our wine and bread tour started at a small museum in the center of the village.

We proceeded to the winery, where our guide Maria, gave us an in depth history of the area and how it's become known for its Muscat grapes. It can be quite warm there in the summer - 50 degrees Celsius or 122. The ground is very rocky, all of which makes for perfect conditions.

For my Camino friends reading this contemplating VDLP, make this a MUST STOP.

Ok I'm going to post this and yesterdays - you are still missing two, but I am catching ...

... say which bed you must have) and buddy's brother in law was below me with a stranger. Buddy snores but we noticed that an Asian fellow was next to Hedleys head just his bed was 90 degrees to ours. Hedley always worries about his snoring but the Asian fellow ground his teeth all night - the joys of shared accommodation! Gives us some good laughs.

Bunks claimed we head to the closest bar. No wifi and we notice no signal! Arrgghh! Oh dear! So quick drink and we head back to the ...
