... go leaving all the climbs behind and getting ready to set off for Paris.

So here we are in our Paris apartment in the first arrondissement, a stone's throw from the Louvre.

Tomorrow we will find a place to watch the finish of the TDF and the womens race in the arvo Beforehand we will wander the streets for a bit and decide on what are our must sees.

... was a massive business model, basically you arrive, go to a shop and hire your wheelchair or bed, then buy your candle, then go to the service and be touched by the holy water. As for the holy water you go to a series of "caroma" hardware taps and buy your bottom and press the button to get your dose of holy water. ... do it with ease. One last word on the crowd, you get a similiar feeling as to when going to or leaving an AFL match with streams of people heading off the mountain decked in Flags, team kits, freebies and bought TDF stuff.

It was a great experience and now it leaves just one day left here before heading to Paris.

Today is another big day for the Tour de France. The riders make their way up the Col du Tourmelet, then onto the hautacam. We woke early once again, breakfast with Jean Jacques.
