Just a few photos from the Ski holiday so far - won't bore you all with tales of daring red runs, lost snow chains (thankfully not this year, so far) or off piste escapades, but the attached photos are a way of sharing our holiday with family and friends ... Don't worry, there will be far more to come in the ...

... wonderful mountains against a clear blue sky. Alan took 104 photographs in about 3 hours!
Tuesday was also clear, so we drove to Chamonix, which is also at the base of Mont Blanc, for a view from another angle. There's another family in our chalet who are part of a big group so we rarely see them, though we can hear them, they can only communicate by shouting, which has become an amusing part of our day.

... but we all woke in the middle of the night with the heaters stone cold and our bodies to match, scrambling for the thermals and extra blankets! So today we managed a nice walk along Lake Annecy. Beautiful! It's just a really nice part of the world to be honest. Crystal clear waters, snow capped mountains all around and waterfront houses which I would imagine cost a small fortune. Later on in the day we took a drive around the lake itself, which is quite large. It takes ...
