I've just noticed that my last entry was just after Christmas! So much has happened since then! Leo and I haven't been skiing as much, I think we are in need of respite! We still go quite regularly compared to the average person ...
... and I got to go hors piste, or outside of the slope. The snow was all powder and super deep which made it a lot of fun and made me a lot more comfortable about falling since even my tumbles didn't hurt!
We stayed on this slope for a while until finally taking a chairlift to the mountain on the other side of the resort. This one was quite intimidating on the map as it has nothing but blue and mostly red lines drawn on it! ...

... bus company has a similar deal with many of the surrounding mountain resorts. Because of this, we had many different places to choose from, but in the end, we decided on Chamrousse and Le Grand Serre. Both seemed to have the slopes we would enjoy the most and Laura had already gone hiking several times in Chamrousse and had long since wanted to ski it as well.
