... bread, cheese and sausage and had a picnic on top of the Col du Lautaret.

We then drove across the Alps again this time via Galibier and the Telegraphe where Mich pulled the pin on driving after seeing tyre tracks that lead over the edge of the narrow road.

In the hope of getting out of the bad weather of Les Deux Alpes, we headed for our next stop near Lac De Paladru, unfortunately we didn't, if anything the weather was worse with almost constant rain for the 2days we stayed, we were still recovering from our bugs so we again spent most of our time in the van..

We took a couple of walks out in between the showers so again not much to report here....

We left site just after 3pm, within ...

... ecstatic. I had an extra day to savor Grenoble and was forced to move soon enough. I was feeling restless and energetic, so I decided to go out for a run, despite the fact that it was storming outside. I threw a light windbreaker over my workout clothes and sprinted out the door. I ran down along the river, watching the clouds swallow the mountains above me, feeling the cold rain drip down my face and my bare legs. I passed multiple bridges, through different parts of the ...
