    ... at how soft the snow was- just like Fairy floss. We drove on towards Grenoble and then Gap where we were staying the night. We drove through the most amazing picturesque scenery. Towering mountains and old fortresses either side as we moved along the valleys. Just stunning.

    The hotel we stayed in was in a good location with the host being very friendly, he reminded us of Gabriel Gate. Gap was a gorgeous little town easily explored by foot from just outside the hotel.

    ... stop and take photos to capture the moment, which is exactly what I did. The attached pictures provide some indication of what it was like...and if any pictures can capture the feeling of "why we ride..." Then these certainly do...however you had to be there... I believe that it takes over two weeks (trip) to get into a space where reflection on the outdoors and the experience takes place.
