On this road, the rock suddenly changed to a dark red sandstone with many overhangs and tight bends - but very little traffic.     We left our beloved botchy field, filled up with petrol and drove around the corner to Allemont. We hunted again for gas, or some way to make it work, but no luck. Again. Not very happy! Not only with the gas, but also troubles with the fridge and 12V powerpoints. Baguette for lunch, set up the van with electricity and went for a walk. Cold and rainy this afternoon, but still able to wander through the town of Allemont. A nice quiet rest day ...
