We had to get on the road by 10am this morning for a couple of reasons. We wanted enough time to see Dali's home town of Figueres, wait for Barcelona's traffic to ease and make it to our next stop back in France at Collioure. ... br> It was a pretty sombre afternoon, but it kind of fitted the occasion. It all seemed pretty quiet and we bumped into very few other human beings. There were only a few men out fishing, and then a few that were heading out to give the surf a go.
Had it been a nicer day, we probably would have stayed to have a beer and enjoy the view, but instead we chose to head through the marina back to the bus stop, and then back to Perpignan.
