... the car, we dropped it off at the airport - about the size of Hamilton airport - having travelled a total of 736km in the time we had it. At this point Ang said she'd found having the car was "stressful". It's probably easier being the driver. We then had a walk around Perpignan. It isn't a big city. But being a medieval city and there being a settlement dating back to roman times, it does have character. It is also a big Rugby stronghold and there are reminders of the city Rugby team, USA Perpignan, everywhere.

... Louis Vuiton,. So it seems to be known, you need a shop on the Champs Élysées. When we reached the Arc de Triomphe, we could see that they were conducting a ceremony around the Eternal Flame. Today is 24th August, so I wonder what special day it is for France? The Arc forms the centre of a roundabout and all traffic goes in the one direction around it. ... you. One of the most interesting things was the primitive plumbing and drainage. Almost non existent. We've just found out that Air France has decided to extend their strike, we are able to get from Perpignan to Paris tomorrow, but then our flight from Paris to Manchester is cancelled. So the others are on computers trying to find seats on other flights, or even the Paris/London train. No success yet, but everything usually works out. Will keep you ...

... to Fran. It is a lovely home! Three stories, aka loads of stairs. Downstairs had a kitchen, bathroom, dining room, living room, and outside deck area. The second floor had three bedrooms, a bathroom, and a beautiful porch looking down on the garden below. The third floor was a giant bedroom.
