... its Kingdom, wow. Super excited now we jumped on the bus and headed out. It is truly a remarkable piece of architecture and dates back to 708AD, OMFG I was about to walk into something that is over 1,300 years old, how fricken cool. It is very gothic and very imposing. We wandered through the cobblestone village before heading through the house of the Knight Bertrand Duguesclin and his wife. Kinda tiny for a Knight and even his armour was small. ... all over the rocks. I climbed a rock that almost went over the walls of the prison. That was so fun.

The next day was New Years Eve. We just waited till 1:00pm to have a late lunch/dinner at a restaurant.

Now it is 2015, yay.

We skyped family and then we went to a place called Dinan.
It was all closed because of New Years so we walked around the old buildings and city walls. ...

Today we went to old castle walls at St Malo and walked all the way around.

We passed a prison in the water.

But when it was low tide you could walk across to it.

here was a lot of big rocks to be climbed all over.

We climbed the most biggest and furthest away rock.

St Malo was a cool town surrounded by the old city walls.
We walked the 1.8km along the top of them taking loads of photos of the beautiful view.

The kids just had to climb over the rocks to get to the exposed island at low tide.
Riley and Jordan ran off to climb and the 6 yr old little girl followed, climbing all the slippery and big rocks.

... not a lot else to do except eat, drink and visit souvenir shops of which there are hundreds all offering the same stuff.

The new town is uninteresting.

We never got to Jersey as on the first day Bruce forgot to take the passports and on the second day we found out that there is only one ferry per day each way and we were far to late as it left at 0830.

Oops, he's not in a good mood at all.
