As we headed north the sun came out, and it was very pleasant as we stopped in Matignon for lunch. A car boot sale was underway in the covered market and we did a lap - nothing inspiring, though Jonathan did find another corkscrew for his growing collection. Almost. Jonathan went to a museum in Lehon while I shopped for souvenirs in Dinan. We met under the clock tower at 12 and had lunch in a strange little cafe, quiche and salad followed by ice cream with salted caramel and Breton biscuits, washed down with coffee. It had to be done, didn't it. Although John had nearly been out off by hearing about the hoardes of tourists. Of course all the aires nearby charge through the nose, we managed to find a lovely one, Aire de Beauvoir, 4 km away from the mount but linked by a cycle path. So we walked in.
