... imagine that as a pouty, grumpy, sore me.Holy Mother of God! Best food we've ever had in our lives, ever, period, end of story. All four of us were blown away!!! It was the most enjoyable, fun, perfect experience and something that will stay with me forever. Seriously, if anyone is EVER going to Salzburg Austria - you have to let me know and I'll give you the name. You know it is a spectacular meal when you eat - have dessert and feel like you could do it all over ...

... from Franco....We were on tour again...with F & P as guides up to the top of the Cengio Mountain... An historical spot where during World War1, the Italian and Austrian soldiers were in hand to hand combat as they had run out of ammunition ....and we're thrown down the cliffs....We walked the narrow cliff path and through tunnels along the edge...quite emotional to say the least. ... shopping... Venice... Glass...!!!! We browsed a LOT ....the most beautiful work I have ever seen...and bought a little...especially enticed by front men after visiting Murano to see the glass blowing... A captive market!!!
Our day pass was running out so we headed back to our hotel and decided the local area needed exploring for another meal..... Pizzas???? Lots of ...

... larch forests still in awe at the beautiful mountains of Sella Massif and Monte Civetta which were very prominent. Lunch was at a popular tourist spot and coffee was always welcome and available on the way. The cows were still playing their music and happy for a pat. After another 7 hour day we had our first Hotel stay of the trek. This was Hotel Boe and of course was at the bottom of a long descent! It was a nice change to only have 2 in each room and our own ...

Then the Natural History & Archaeological Museum which had some Roman statues & mosaics of interest to Mr George. Just glad I did not have the job of re-creating that mosaic floor it can only imagine they did it piece by piece - my photo is only of one small corner.

The highlight of the day was our visit to Castello ...
