With the last few days requiring early starts and lots of family activities and local sights, it's nice to have some relaxed time and a later sleep in than normal. We have been eagerly awaiting this day, as we have planned to visit the war memorial at Monte Grappa, high up in the mountains about 30km away from Bassano. We decide to go alone when Renato cancels due to a family emergency, but we only get a short distance before we turn back to avoid getting lost, as we haven't been able to get proper directions. convenient 5 minute walk from the hotel to get our first lot of supplies for
the next fortnight. Yummy choices of
