... at the local betting shop/bar we we're put in touch with a chamber d'hôtel with vacancies for 4 cyclists and two tandems. Sadly they weren't serving evening meals so we had to find a restaurant to eat before coping with our night at the chamber. ... here is absurd. So my first responsibility of the day is to open my (real) shutters on my window. Then it is downstairs to have breakfast. In French the word for "breakfast" is "petit déjeuner" which is no lie. The serving size for breakfast is much smaller than in America. However the quality is amazing.
