... and bought food and drinks and had dinner at home, lovely day all around. 31.10.14 Up at a reasonable hour, had a great breakfast, then headed into Cortona for a walk around exploring and shopping. Today we went to Villa Di Catullo, which is an ancient castle left in ruins after many years. Apparently you are not allowed to stand any of the rocks, we found out when the boys were posing on a rock for a photo and we suddenly heard a woman madly blowing her whistle from 100m away yelling at them to get down! ... on the Mammut roller coaster and even though Brodie had his head down the whole time he made Paul go on it with him again. When we had 45 minutes till the park closed we split up, Luca and I went to one of the kiddie areas where we went on the merry go round, min ferris wheel, into the magic treehouse and on a train ride. ... then headed over to the museum. We had been told it was great for kids and they loved it. It had a mini scitech section, a section on mountain animals, dinosaur and whale bones, plus more.
