... was beautiful! We saw lots of statues, saw the painting by renaissance artists (Jeff was bored stiff...but I'm glad I saw it)... Did lots of walking, had a delicious dinner, but I'm sure we missed out on a lot of things that we didn't even realize were there. I didn't feel like we were very well prepared for this visit. I'll try to do better in Rome. Our campground is really nice...it's definitely a resort...many steps above the average ...

We made our way to the Rome airport to pick up the van to Tuscany. Some of us were apprehensive due to the reputation of the Autostrada but we found it to be a breeze (thanks in part to Tom Tom and our driver Pokie)
