    road goes over the wonderful Passo Del Tonale and is simply just curve after
    curve after curve.

    this is generally a main road it means that trucks and all use it and getting
    stuck behind one of them is a complete nightmare. At times they are down to 3
    or 4 mph on the sharp curves but worse still is when they meet another truck
    coming the other way. Here all stops and both trucks have to work out how to

    On 9/26 we again deviated from our original plans in order to travel back Guarda to see the festivities involved in bringing the cows down to lower pastures for the winter.     ... I got here today to TIrano. I expected just a small stopover town since this is where the Bernina Express ends but it is a lovely little town. It is almost 5:30 so I doubt I will get any pictures; however, I can tell you we had a lovely lunch of fish with what else but two scoops of gelato ( not at the same time-lol) Two hours in Italy and we are already hitting the gelato counter - works for me!!! ...
