      ... to be a lovely but surprisingly difficult ride as I thought it was flat but it was actually a gently rising slope. I made it about 10 or so kms before we turned back to make lunch in time and I was rewarded with basically no pedalling all the way home..who knew.       We set out from our hotel at 9.30 to get to the central station Ferrovia for our train at 10.50. Consequently even after taking the ferry from Rialto we were still far to early so hung about. We were on the fast train so made Milan at 1.25 just 5 minutes after the Tirano train left so Joe grabbed a slice of pizza and we hung about til 2.20 for the next one.
