So, max's first tennis lesson was...interesting. He was so excited to watch daddy play, but when it was his turn, he would hit two balls and then declare 'I need a water break'. So, guy played some awesome tennis and worked up a sweat while max sat on the bench, hit two balls, and took a well-deserved water break. THE life. ... evening Jan again prepared a lovely dinner for us. Annelie took me shopping in the local markets and I was envious of the fresh fruits and vegetables so readily available. The French are obviously serious about their food!

On Monday we made the return trip. We had to be home in time for our building project! And while our time in Mandelieu was short, it was a perfect "taste" of the south of France. I hope we will return again soon!

... guide, which was very insightful. Our favorite area of the museum was the room with the book of songs.

Main Street- We also really enjoyed this area with the shops and restaurants everywhere. The area was buzzy with activity and we loved checking out all the restaurants. The tram also ran through the center of this area so we would hop on and off whenever we saw something interesting
