... re-schedule. Because of this they gave me the video for free. Then the 30 minute session turned into about 50 minutes so I was rapt. The noise this thing makes in the tunnels was unreal. There was a lull between hitting the throttle and when the power went down, but then it just launched effortlessly. JJ the pilot said it goes from zero to 100 km in four seconds! ... evening Jan again prepared a lovely dinner for us. Annelie took me shopping in the local markets and I was envious of the fresh fruits and vegetables so readily available. The French are obviously serious about their food!

On Monday we made the return trip. We had to be home in time for our building project! And while our time in Mandelieu was short, it was a perfect "taste" of the south of France. I hope we will return again soon!

... first thing I did was walk to the Jardin Exotique. Situated at the top of the city, I got an amazing view of what was to come. Walked through the labyrinth of cacti and browsed the local anthropology museum.

... envy crocs-wearers! Nonetheless we are both suitably lobsterfied and had a nice day. We found a nice little restaurant in a quaint little square for dinner.
