Hello again from us.
Our first week here was hot and sunny, but the second week has cooled down considerably to a high of around 21 each day, with much cloud and occasional short rain showers.

One day we cycled to the Chassiron lighthouse on the North of the Island, we have cycled to here many times, it's a lovey picturesque route, the light can be seen from 52km, it is a cylindrical tower 46 metres high, originally painted white. Cotiniere was seething with tourists - it's small, so not a lot of room for them. Our place was right on the beach - we tried walking on the sand, but it wasn't at all firm. We did walk around the 'town' a couple of times. Had take away fish and chips, with take away beer and wine, and ate on a bench overlooking the harbour. Fantastic.
