A travel blog entry by slonge on Feb 01, 2015

Last week, as it was my last week in Rochefort working at Pierre Loti Collège, some kids, mostly the younger ones showed that they were sad to see me go. I could tell that they really have enjoyed my weekly visits in their class. There were two classes specifically that did something nice for me. Today we visited an abbey, and a very interesting Cathedral. There was another building or maybe an enclosed area (it was hard to tell) that was attached to the back of the Cathedral that we could see from the outside, but unfortunately we could only visit the sanctuary. I’m always curious what the rest of these churches and buildings look like, but of course we have to stick to the sanctuary. In this Cathedral ...
