... to La Rochelle left at 6:12, so they didn't have much time, but we showed them the church and bought churrus (which are so delish) and Bridget and I swooned over how beautiful dutch is-we even got taught some, so we're working on our counting now hehe

The bus on the way back was so packed, so it was another standing ride, but visiting the island was so worth it and I would love to do it again just for lunch, or to visit another part of the island!

... here if you're in the area. £60 with breakfast. Parking outside free after 18.00hrs 19.30hrs. We're ready to dine. Off we walk to the square for a meal. Shucks, all shops and cafes shut. No more than ten people around! The town sleeps after 18.30,, oh great. Off to the local supermarket for a picnic in our palace. It was pleasant and cheap. We enjoyed it and laughed it off.
