    ... our room, then set off to walk to to the lookout where the sled rides start. But the rain soon got too heavy and we were drenched, so we returned to our room. After lunch in our room we decided that with the weather so bad, we would take the opportunity to use the Hotel's pool and spa.     ... had been going on their for centuries in that tiny simple building. We also went for a paddle in the lake, and had a good ice cream. The list of things we didn't do is considerable.     ... a wedding as one has to go out by boat and the groom should carry the bride up the 99 steps to show how strong he is. There are hotels and shops and bars and restaurants . Food is interesting lots of cured meats like sausages and salami and proscuttio served as an appetiser . I had trout which was lovely . Dessert was Bled Cake - Similar to custard square but with a layer of meringue as well. Apparently all the countries around make it slightly differently. Originally from Austria. ...

    ... it walking the bicycle, while I gave my calves a hammering! All the uphill torture was worth it, when we arrived at the 1600m wooden walkway built in 1893. The boardwalk criss-crosses the Rodovna River four times over rapids and crystal clear pools, before ending at the Sum Waterfall.
