... everywhere. Some walked so slow, some had to stop right in front of you to look at a window display. I tried not to look at these because everything in Venice is beautiful, it is a shoppers paradise & I didn't want to be tempted. Even the window display of European bedding was mouth watering. Jeff & I sleep with a Beagle & don't think that Copper would "ooo & aaaa" over Venetian linens!

San Marcos Square was even more crowded ...

So much to do but here comes the rain :(

... Then went through and saw all the beautiful vases, ornaments and jewellery and may have left having made a small purchase ;) Unfortunately by the time we came out the rain had settled but we still had our gondola rides to do so made our way around and luckily the rain eased just enough for us to do the rides. Before bucketing down again! Took some great pics of the narrow waterways and the old houses and buildings. Also saw the famous 'bridge ...

... other two islands as Sandy said. Nice to get away from the big crowds inside Venice. Our gondola ride was fun. Sandy wore her brand new lace skirt we just bought at the island and of course I wore my new Venetian fedora. Sandy said I looked like a mob boss. I had the best lasagna in my life after the ride. The pizza has been awesome also. And Sandy mentioned my gelato addiction. Venice is great but 2 days is enough. On to Tuscany for a couple of days with a rental ...

... the glass blowers crafting fine glass into bowls and figurines. Amazing. The Murano Showroom contained every conceivable bowl, plate, statue, and chandelier. All wonderfully crafted, individually hand-made, with large price tags. Some pieces took the craftsman four weeks to be completed. We walked very very carefully through the various displays. One small comment about a piece and a salesperson would pounce offering free shipping, or a discount if we purchased ...

... same... Lufthansa. Then we flew into Milan. We found out tour guide and hopped on a bus to pick up the third group in our full EF group. The guide said it's best to try to stay awake until 10 PM here time to avoid jet lag but I'm pretty sure everyone fell asleep on the bus.
