A Week at Erice - International Conference in Neuroeconomics - June 16 to 20

Walked about at dusk. Stunning castle with a backdrop of the towns below and the coast. It was freezing. The rapidly shifting clouds and the dancing blanket of fog made the place all the more magical.

The day starts cold and heats up during the day, but never scorching, and daramatically cools again at night. The vista ...

... old town and I really enjoyed just wandering through the quaint old alleys and cobble stone streets. I did make my way to Venus Castle (built by the Normans) and to the Real Duomo (just the outside). Erice has 60 churches. What is it with Sicily and all its churches? The 3 hours was not long enough but gave a taste to ensure another visit/stay.
