Arriaga our last stop in MX

... of buisnesses, since traffic slows merchants sell anything from fruit to cold drinks. Some will stand in the middle of the lanes to reach both drivers of the traffic. It also seems the place to catch a ride, or just watch traffic as the continuing circus of vehicles and unaware drivers parade by. You become accustomed to watching out for the reductors in a way I have never have looked for anything else on the ...

Mexico

On to Puerto Arista, a relative metropolis, plenty of shops, some of them even open! Out of high season seaside towns tend to only fully open at weekends when the city dwelling Mexican hordes descend. Found a nice little place near a smelly lagoon and not far from the beach, but sadly, as often happens in Mexico, the workers started banging around at 6am - because it´s really hot later, they start work early but with no concern for their sleeping clients.

Stop over

Just a stop over in this small town, where a Saturday night is spent drinking until falling asleep in the streets. It was quite funny arriving there so late, everyone just coming to us so drunk and talking to us and then after one hour seeing them sleeping outside. This time has not much apart from good hot dogs, we went to eat them at a stand where they were showing a Mexican boxing game, and i had to stasy the whole 11 rounds and cheer up with the locals...

... drink with a bunch of girls singing 'I will survive' on top of my lungs. Lucky for us, Bridger was a true sweetheart and came to pick us up and take us to Piment. I finally got a hold of this coffeedrink that I had been craving for weeks and Joan named it Cafe Martina. Things with him and Audrey weren't super though and her and Emilie ended up staying behind while the three of us moved on to O'Corner. It was chill, not too much happening. Bridger got ...

Le Weekend

... wanted was possible. Funny how those things work. Kathy got busy with a pharmacist and I was having a really fun (and probably tipsy) conversation with her dad, Bill. Bridger came by and we finally finished the champagne and went on to Casa Nikki. Portuguese Guy from after at Bubbles was working at the door and we ran into Bertrand right outside as well. We got free shots at the bar and danced for our usual 5 minutes before deciding to head for the Yacht. We left Bill ...

Welcome to the Caribbean

... mean, it is still in the Caribbean but it's nowhere near some of the other beaches around the island. It was nice though, the french girls are nice enough : ) That afternoon though I did start to feel somewhat claustrophobic, our part of the island is (just as any other part) between the mountains and the beach and consists of maybe 100 people so I definately felt the need to explore. There's only one little road leading to our part of the ...
