    ... big slide yesterday I took it extremely gently. At one point I stopped for photos and a large sports bike came passed me and so I followed him. If his tyres can hold the road then my off road tyres will easily hold.

    Finally over this pass and I turn onto the fast flowing no 3 road towards St Moritz.

    The temp so far has been everything from 2 Celsius to 14 Celsius but with not a breath of wind and great sunshine it certainly does not feel cold at all.

    ... and bought food and drinks and had dinner at home, lovely day all around. 31.10.14 Up at a reasonable hour, had a great breakfast, then headed into Cortona for a walk around exploring and shopping. Can't believe the size of the streets cars drive in within the city limits, crazy. Went to the supermarket and got some dinner for tonight in our apartment.     ... scared he would see it...... So anyway, poor Paul was left to get Luca stripped off and rinse out his clothes and car seat. I cleaned him up best I could and put him in some spare clothes of Nicolas' that we just happened to have in the car. (note -always travel with spare clothes for all kids!!!).     Having spent the day in Monaco, and, I have to say, feeling a little...ummm...deflated....I was going to say disappointed, but that's a bit strong.
