Wales and England - AMAZING. We arrived on Friday 16th October. We launched straight into sightseeing mode and went directly to the Roman Baths in Bath. What a groovy town Bath is. The next day was the Dr Who Experience in Cardiff. This probably rated as James' most favourite tourist attraction. That afternoon Paul and James went to the Semi Final of New Zealand v France. Our country v The Country we live in. The rest is history. ...

Perhaps watching me become tormented with unusual requests in poor French provides her with some sarcastic pleasure. And then we have an amazing bakery 4 minutes walk from home. This Boulangerie and Patisserie makes the most amazing breads and cakes. The puff pastry is silkenly thin and ...

around there I’d head out of town to try to find somewhere quiet to camp for
the night. Purely by luck I passed a sign for CERN – visitors. That happens to
be where the LHC is! What’s the LHC?? The Large Hadron Collider stupid! It’s

... roof. The views on the way down seemed even more spectacular, as the early evening sun lit up the peaks. We ended up with an entire car to ourselves. Unbelievable! After at least ten different train rides, no two have been close to the same. Then, when we didn't think it could get any better, the lake appeared below us again. Wow! Words could not do it justice. It was 7:30 when we got back to town, and we had one last Swiss experience ...

I planned to go to Lausanne the next day using the motorway, although rain was expected in the morning. To my surprise, the day dawned bright and clear, so I decided to ride the Jungpass 1510m and enjoy the beautiful scenery all the way down to lake of Geneva and Lausanne.
