While in Brazil...
I learned how to speak very basic Portuguese and play Capoeira instruments like the berimbau, pandeiro and atabaque.

My favorite moments were...
1. swimming daily in the condo’s pool.
2. The World Cup game and pre and post-game festivities.
3. Visiting the turtle sanctuaries.

... everything' and others that specialise in haberdahery or shoes... this is shopper's heaven.

Lunch at Ramin's apartment follows and we meet his lovely wife Nagmeh and his little girl Samira. Ramin's brother and sister in law with their two little girls are there too, and we love the family atmosphere. Before we know it it is time to take off to the airport and begin the next leg of out travels in the capital of Brazil - Brasilia.

... lot of perusing and saying no to many as the bums were virtually non existent, I chose 2 bikinis, a beach dress, and a last minute sports bra decision because it was so cheap! We then headed to a restaurant for lunch (it was 4!) to meet Tiago and his housemate Rodrigo. The place was called Veloso and was packed - it is famous for its caipirinhas and coxinha, which are a sort of fried food. We tried a shrimp version and a chicken version, and they really are good! ... there was a section of the crowd who were dancing and singing to the beat of samba drums and took off their shirts and starting waving in the air each time their team scored. They didn't even stop when their team conceded a goal! We wrapped up the day with a caipirinha and a beer to avoid a torrential thunder storm in one of the many street side cafe/bars which we love to visit. Whilst admiring the lightening show outside, it was a great way to cap off our last day in Sao Paulo. ...
