... Moto3 race, the lead changing about 10 times. The Italians only cheer for the Italian riders.
Then the sun hit and half way through Moto2 we were thinking we had made a mistake to sit there.
Also going anywhere was a nightmare, there are not routes up and down the hill as everyone just sits where they want to sit so you have to trek like a mountain goat.
A trip to the toilet took me an hour each time as the queue for the bathrooms were crazy.

A room with a view. Well we do have a view! It’s not quite the Arno but we do have a lovely view over a courtyard which has large trees and greenery. Greenery is missing in Florence. There are not many places where you can see trees and other forms of vegetation. The courtyard belongs to the residents on the ground floor of the building and it’s also a space for them to park their cars. We’ve not seen anyone ...
