It's cold this morning inside as the plug wasn't pushed in all the way on the electric heater! However with a combination of pushing the plug back in and the sunshine we were soon warmed up and on the go. Whilst I had a good clean through, Les did some washing and pegged it out, it will soon dry in the sun and light breeze. Eventually we were ready to leave Venice, we are heading to Lake Garda - the largest of Italy's ...

Trento is a surprise package. A city of approx 120 000 based on education and finance this city is located on the river Adige, a major trading route with Europe in earlier time, and completely surrounded by snow covered mountains. Spectacular.
We left Colfosco on a near perfect day and as I think I mentioned we travelled north to almost the Austrian border and then south to Trento. ...

He also scared the willies out of us with windy steep roads the kind of switch backs you see in the Tour De France. Anyhow our wisdom to avoid the Autostrada turned a two and a half our trip into ...

... then headed over to the museum. We had been told it was great for kids and they loved it. It had a mini scitech section, a section on mountain animals, dinosaur and whale bones, plus more. We spent a couple of hours there being dragged from section to section by 3 excited kids. Luckily the drive home was much less eventful than the ride there and Luca and Brodie both had a nap. Back in Fiera we all went out for dinner and then to bed after a busy ...

... emailing the owner Massimo as we went. Directions got lost in translation and Sue and her trusty IPad took us to Tenna. Massimo said he would meet us in the park and we waited and waited. He rang to say he couldn't find us, so we gave him more directions in our best Italian. Finally we discovered we were in Tenna and he was in Tenno...luckily he laughed! The right ...
