    ... brick , hiding breathtaking mosaics are br . You are only allowed in there for 15 mins at a time to help preserve these amazing jewel like images.

    ENJOY the pics ...... We were snapping away like turtles .... Noel has many many more if you are interested in a slide night ...... !!!

    We are now heading back towards the centre of Italy ......Tuscany here we come......

    ... to do anything tourist, either did Jess and Ben. We had a nice late lunch in view of the main cathedral. We asked the our server where we could go that was not full of tourist. He suggested Piazza Santo Spirito. We decided,we would walk to Piazza Michelangelo to see the sunset. The plaza is on top of a hill that over looks Florence. We had a nice time relaxing up there and watching the sunset. After that, we took a taxi to Santo Spritio. It definitely has a more local feel to ...

    We stopped for a top up at Lido di Classe, a spot just off the beach. It was hot. We had a chat to the lady in the cafe. Two of her daughters live in Sydney and a niece, a nurse at the Children's Hospital Cancer Ward in Brisbane. Tis a small world. She was lovely and wished us all the best for the remainder of our trip.

    ... about 32kg in addition to my bulk, the front wheel started to wobble. Hand on the back brake, put the bum back as far as I could on the seat and pushed my legs against the top bar to help stability, I managed to catch up with a stationary Annette who proudly told me of her feat.

    ... lady who directed me to the garage and took Annette into AC comfort to book in. Bikes locked up, all 13 items - yes, we have managed to add more stuff that filled an extra bag. Unsure what we will do when we jump on the plane in Venice, will worry about it then.
