... synchronized with the water dripping from the ceiling. When they turned on all the lights at the end, you could see that the pool in the centre was really deep. We then headed back down to admire the longest soda straw stalactites and head out. Afterwards we wandered over to see a nearby waterfall and underwater lake. It was a tough ride to the top but the views were a good distraction as was watching out for Megs, our official mini-Tour photographer, popping out at various pullouts to take photos. If I look comfortable and am sitting upright and smiling, trust me, it only lasted until I heard the shutter click. Croix de Fer
After such a long ride the day before, Dad was quite happy to drive the other van to our next campsite and Anoop decided (or it was decided for him) that he should also have a day off if he wanted any hopes of making it up Alpe d'Huez. Tan, Mägge and Hille decided to ride to the next campsite since it went over an extra col and it was a beautiful day for it.
