... in. Like everyone here, friendly cab driver. Like everyone here, even more friendly to Sophie. Watch cabbie hit on Sophie. Try to distract him with talk of the Euro cup, not really working much. Scenic view of south of France. 12:30 home. €100 out of pocket. The casino didn't get us, transport did. The first really glitch in the trip. I feel sick thinking about it.

Monte Carlo, amazing, just left poor, we are not the exception to the rule.

... van. No idea what it will cost us… we have another one in the front from a horrid bollard in Spain. Our lovely Naomih ( our Irish TomTom voice) has a habit of sending us up the narrowest of streets and some of them it has been a miracle that we managed to get out of. Side mirrors have had to be brought back in and I have had to direct traffic!

We finally did find the Matisse Musee which was interesting to see the different styles during ...

... it was on to Monaco to see the prince's palace and the Monte Carlo casino. The prince's palace was a shanti compared to the other buildings we've seen thus far on out trip, and it isn't really worth the visit.  Later on, we drove to the Monte Carlo. On the way, our insane Irish bodybuilder/bus driver Paddy impressed us all again.  He got to the starting blocks of the F1 race that takes place there, put the bus into neutral, revved it way up, and literally dropped ...

... the morning shift I ran to the railway station. The return ticket to Monte Carlo was only 5 Euros, and the journey last 15-20 minutes. The views were gorgeous, but the best one was the old town of Monte Carlo and it`s cars. Jeeez! Amazing! Moreover, they would stop in order to let you pass through - before you even got to zebra. I had a very limited time, but the things I saw there made me convinced it was not my last time in Monaco.
