... when the fellows at the table next to ours remarked on our (custom made for the tour) jerseys. It turns out they were Australians recently moved to Monte Carlo, and cyclists too. They recommended a route for our cycling afternoon that included some of the climbs we had decided to avoid. We thanked them sincerely, wished them "Bonne route!" as the French do, and followed our "Plan B" route anyway.

I arrived in Monaco and was welcomed by the sights and sounds of hundreds of people preparing for the Monte Carlo Grand Prix which will be from May 26 to 29th. I went to the Casino where such famous people as James Bond gamble. LOL
