... huile’ with olive trees scattered around. A strain of bamboo is growing everywhere and cactus’s are making an appearance on the horizon.
Heading as far south as we could we were actually riding along various land bridges with ‘etangs’ (sorry, cannot do the accents. These are little areas of trapped water were lots of wildlife live). The most unique of all creatures that live here are Flamingos! Never had I ...
... I was stuck without internet for the week though, so I could not look up the phone numbers for delivery services (yes, they do exist in France; they even got Domino's). But I got by just fine and I had a great time. I was only a 5 minute walk from the Tram that took me into town. There, I'd walk around the city, go see creepy Korean vampire movies, and meet up with old friends. I spent most of the week with my old friend Clement, which ...

We have been having a really good time today. She has started to become closer to me and I to her. She told me today how I am way better ...
Montpellier, Languedoc-Roussillon, France ceriseWell, finally - after a false start setting out to pick up friends from Pau airport a day early! - first night: moored up alongside the Canal du Midi, just south of Beziers. Some very noisy ducks for company... Bit of a gloomy one weather-wise. Rained last night, but forecast suggests brightening up gradually as day goes on. Slowing our departure from ...
Villeneuve-lès-Béziers, Languedoc-Roussillon, France marcdolav... second was a half a stubby of beer (the other half was lost on the kitchen floor when it fell out of the fridge). The next day (Wednesday) we had been planned for a week as the day we went canoeing down the river Tarn. The canoeing was done in the gorges d'Tarn which was a 2 hour drive north of our base. On our way there we went through the town of Millau which had a massive bridge just out town so the tollway could span right across the valley. I ...
Montagnac, France mja007... larger boats that cruise about the Mediterranean. On the whole these have been quite comfortable and pleasant, but they haven't had much airtime in my notes. So as this may be my last sea journey and in case anyone is wondering what they are like (Aussies aren't really exposed to this mode of transport), here's a few thoughts on them. Most of the long haul boats ...
Marseilles, France technotrekker... Mi porto a ...
