... Pinxos restaurant she, Ev, and Jullie had loved 3 weeks earlier. It was truly amazing and we enjoyed talking with a lovely british couple who now run a B&B in Provence. Judy and the kids had a wet but fun time, as the weather had finally turned south.
I don't really need to tell you what we did do I? Take one part playground, one part beach, and one part sunset and you have a Kramer day in Biarritz.
... Dispite the language barriers they had a lovely time exploring the basque country side. What did we do? Why go to the beach, of course!!
... the kids slept. Tom did a little surfing and another nice sunset was enjoyed during dinner.
... cathedral and adorable cobble stone streets. Since it was sunday, the only place open was a small creperie, but we had a nice time nonetheless which Judy watched the kids.

After our mini scare we appropriately went to Lourdes, where a lady saw the virgin Mary in a vision ...
Hendaye, Aquitaine, France piholland... a rather bad dinner at a brasserie across the road (microwaved croque monsieur.....yum). The waiting area is busy with French hikers returning from a weekend break and a portly, but friendly Uruguayan backpacker that keeps wandering around back and forth. Our train out is at 10:37, and then it's onward to Paris on an eight and a half hour trip. Looking forward to sleep; let's hope the night is restful enough.
Hendaye, Spain psteerenberg... Instead, we roamed around the streets dropping in on a few tapas bars. We started at Restaurant Bernado. The place was packed. They great standard tapas dishes: Serrano ham, anchovies, calamari, octopus. The sangria I ordered to accompany it was fantastic. It was sweet and refreshing to survive the warm muggy weather. Another place worth mentioning that was also packed with people is called ...
