After brekkie it was onto Menton which is a lovely little town just before the Italian border. Menton is a much more down to earth place than its neighbours and more our scene. We found a park right on the beach and went for a wander and took in sum much needed sun. Next stop Italia!!<br>

... experience at Sababini's was very personable! The eight course meal was superb! We both chose the steak and lobster, otherwise referred to as surf and turf! The service was fantastic! Sabatini's provided a more intimate and personable experience! We were glad we arrived with an apetite. Otherwise, the eight courses would've been too much. ... in our entryway anymore, OMG I can't wait to get home! A month is just too long. It's weird, I was fine living in Germany for three years. I missed the States every once in a while, but nothing too bad. But there is something about being away from home that makes it entirely different this time. ... and that felt great. It was funny because today we had a lesson that went over some of the stuff you might encounter while shopping. Guess we went one day early! Then on the bus home, we talked to the bus driver, and another passenger. We had dinner in Beaulieu, and Aaron tried squab, which was yum. It was the best dinner we've had here so far. ... We forgot to bring bags from the apartment, so we had to buy some, but other than that it went just fine. The rain was light when at all, so it wasn't some miserable time at the bus stop waiting. (Remember that old song? "Please share my umbrellllla") We came back home and did laundry with my newly purchased soap and fabric softener and made our own little lunch with ham and Abondonce cheese. I've been wanting to have some more for two years ...

We drove onto Nice. This is a very large place and we temporariily took a wrong turn and spent about 15 minutes getting back to the right road. ... back to A'dam, about 5 hours away. We will likely stop in Verdun on the way to see the trenches and craters that make up the last remaining scars from WWI. Being our first ever 2-week vacation, it sure did fly by and I can happily report that Julie and I are still talking to one another =) Hope all is well with everyone and happy tax day!
